Attention: Danish authorities provide free interpreter assistance e.g. in criminal cases before the court, asylum cases. In other cases, the institutions themselves assess whether such assistance is necessary, e.g. in a hospital, a doctor may ask for the assistance of an interpreter in important matters. Please note that, for example, in a hospital or with a family doctor, such assistance is possibly only possible up to 3 years of residence in Denmark.
