Every person, coming to work in Denmark, needs a tax identification number and a tax card. On the basis of the tax card the employer calculates the salary. By properly making and applying the due allowances according to current law, you can be sure that you won't have to pay extra in your annual settlement.
Attention: If you don't have a tax card, your employer is required to withhold 55 percent of your salary for tax purposes without tax credits.
