Every person, working in Denmark, needs a tax card (Danish forskudsopgørelse). Based on the tax card, the employer calculates your salary. The tax card is a kind of budget/forecast of your income, tax paid, and expected tax credits for the calendar year. A proper tax card is even more important than a tax return. Correctly making and carrying due allowances according to the current law gives you the assurance that you won't have to pay extra when you do your annual return.
Attention: If you don't have a tax card, your employer is required to withhold 55 percent of your salary for tax purposes without tax credits.
Cost of the service 350 kr
