You must apply for an EU residence permit (EU-opholdsdokumentet).
To do this, you need to go in person to one of the branches of the SIRI office(International Rekruttering og Integration) located in Copenhagen, Odense, Alborg, Århus, Esbjerg, Søndeborg, Bornholm. ->Check current opening hours and addresses .

What if your circumstances change?
Have you stopped working, finished your studies? and still want to stay in Denmark.
Your document may no longer be valid! Apply for a new one according to your situation.
You can also get residency in Denmark under the rules:
- family members of an EU citizen in Denmark - If you are an EU citizen and live in Denmark, your relatives who move to Denmark can also apply for residency On the basis of family reunification, we are talking about the Spouse or partner (if you have lived together in your country of origin for at least 18 months - joint registration) and children under the age of 21.
- Student - If you are studying at a Danish educational institution at the upper secondary or tertiary level, you can, as an EU/EEA or Swiss citizen, apply for a residence document as a student,
- person with sufficient financial resources- A person has sufficient financial resources to support himself (and possibly his family) during his stay in Denmark without burdening the Danish welfare system.
